A little idea inspired by a big move.

Hi, I'm Kristi! I'm a mom of three girls, and I know how hard it can be to stay close when life moves, literally.

When our family moved across the country, my daughters began writing letters back and forth with the friends they missed. I loved seeing how excited they were to write, decorate their letters, and especially find something waiting for them in the mailbox. Those little exchanges helped the miles feel a little smaller, and eventually sparked the idea for Forget-Me-Not Penpals.

What started as a simple way to help my own girls stay connected has grown into writing kits and stationery for friends, grandparents and grandchildren, campers, little writers, and anyone who could use a little more happy mail in their life.

Why Forget-Me-Not?

The name felt right from the very beginning.

Forget-me-nots have long been associated with remembrance and staying connected to someone you love, even when you're apart. That was exactly what I was watching happen with my girls. A handwritten letter was such a simple thing, but it reminded them that their friendships could still feel close, even from far away.

That feeling is still at the heart of everything we create.

Made for meaningful connection

Every Forget-Me-Not Penpals kit is designed to make writing feel fun, easy, and special. Some are made for best friends separated by miles. Others help grandparents and grandchildren share more of the everyday moments that can get lost between visits. Some are tucked into camp trunks or given as thoughtful gifts simply because someone is worth writing to.

Different kits, but always the same idea: helping people stay connected in a way that feels a little more personal.

Made with care in our home studio

Every kit begins here at home, where it's designed, printed, cut, and carefully packed by hand. From choosing stationery and putting together writing supplies to adding the finishing touches before an order heads out the door, we want opening a Forget-Me-Not package to feel just as special as sending the first letter.

This little business has grown beyond what I imagined when my girls first started writing to their friends, but the reason behind it hasn't changed.

Handwritten moments that matter.

Thank you for being part of our story and for helping a little more happy mail find its way into the world.
